Together with the civic foundation Herzebrock-Clarholz Media!House direct finances a new circular saw for the technology lessons of the comprehensive school of the community..
“It is always a special concern of ours to support projects for children and young people in the community,” emphasized the managing director of the agency Detlef Bopp, which is based in the dual municipality. In addition, the company regularly supports other selected projects of the community foundation with a Christmas donation. Instead of presents, only cards are sent by post and digital means at Christmas. So that the recipients also know where the agency’s Christmas donation is going, the respective project is noted on the cards. In previous years, Media!House direct supported, among other things, the integrative vacation games at the Lönne-Tiekmann farm and language support at the Wilbrandschule in Clarholz. “We want to continue that, it’s a nice thing to do,” said Detlef Bopp. Media!House direct stands for decades of experience in direct marketing, extensive know-how and comprehensive industry expertise. The 15-member agency team supports companies and organizations in every phase of new customer acquisition: from strategic planning to operational implementation.
The community foundation supports projects of public institutions, organizations, associations and other initiatives. “The funds stay in the community and benefit the local people, we want to help and promote,” assured the managing director of the community foundation Gregor Korsten. The community foundation acts according to the motto “We for our community.”
The old circular saw was no longer operational. All the greater is the joy about the donation of a new circular saw. “The technology lessons do a lot for career orientation, we have always said we have an obligation, we are the only secondary school locally, so it is our task to also connect the local economy and school contacts. Thanks to the community foundation, we have always succeeded in doing this,” reports principal Sabine Hengstenberg. The technology classrooms are all equipped with tools, work tables and machines. All students benefit from the new professional machine with circular saw and chip extraction for 3,600 € in the technology lessons. Although the students are not allowed to operate the machine themselves, the teachers can cut building materials for the lessons. “We prepare and then the students work with it,” explained deputy principal Christian Abendroth. The school wants to promote the craft skills of the students. The next topic is gardening and landscaping in the outdoor area, the students are then allowed to tackle themselves.
